Located in the historic town of Mahikeng, the exotic entertainment oasis, Mmabatho Palms Hotel, Casino and Convention Resort has recently appointed new managers to key positions:

Kenneth Moshoela - Food and Beverage Manager (Left)
“A seasoned professional, Kenneth brings a wealth of experience to table. We look forward to him inspiring the team and to positively impacting service standards and guest satisfaction,” says Sisulu Madondo, General Manager at Mmabatho Palms. Boasting 18 years’ experience in the hospitality and gaming industries, Moshoela started his career as an assistant Guest Services Manager who worked his way up the ranks. About the appointment, Moshoela says that he’s excited to start this new chapter and to join such a dynamic and driven team. “It’s a new family, a new culture and a new environment I’m walking into, and I am thrilled about this amazing opportunity,” he says. “One of my main goals is to provide guests with resort experiences that exceed their expectations, and I can’t wait to get started!”

Edwin Majaja - Finance Manager (Right)
In this vital position, Majaja will be responsible for the seamless functioning of the Finance Department, both administratively and operationally. Majaja joins Mmabatho Palms after having spent three years as the Chief Finance Officer at a non-profit company, focused on providing medical support and assistance to South African communities. “I am extremely excited to lead the Finance Department and look forward to tackling any challenges that this new role might bring,” says Majaja. “From my experiences of dealing with finances, I know that the job can be taxing at times, but I am committed to forging ahead and to bringing meaningful impact and change to Mmabatho Palms.”

Jeff Dithipe - Tables Manager (Centre)
Dithipe was previously employed by Peermont’s Rio Resort for more than 14 years. He started out as a trainee dealer in 2004 who worked his way up the ranks to Dealer Inspector in 2006, Pit Boss in 2010, and Tables Duty Manager in 2013. “Jeff’s passion and fresh ideas will most definitely make a positive impact and breathe new life into the casino,” says Sisulu Madondo, General Manager at Mmabatho Palms. “It’s vital for him to strengthen relationships with our guests, and to add that special magic that will keep them coming back for more.”
